We Are JOLA - Branding & Web Design Studio

Using the internet is very simple, right? You have browsers, search engines (the vast majority use Google), and you have websites. You find everything you are interested in very quickly and easily. So we conclude that a website is just a website, right? That is where you are wrong! An outdated, confusing, or broken website, which often throws out 404 Not Found errors, can not bring anything good to you and your brand and business. Don't be fooled that all these issues won't harm your website and business. They surely will! They will surely set back everything you worked for when raising your brand.

How to Remove Issues From Your Website?

Well, that's where web design comes into play. So let's start with the basics, what is web design anyway? Web design is the design of websites that are on the Internet, ie websites that are 'live'. It represents the process of planning, building, and combining the principles and elements of web design to set up an adequate structure for your website. By combining and applying the design principles, all images, colors, fonts, animations, and all other elements will fit into one beautiful, modern, elegant unity, which will represent your new unique website, Web design has numerous components that work together to create the finished experience of a website. It includes graphic design, user experience design, interface design, search engine optimization (SEO), and content creation, and we will write about all of these and much more in the future. The above things affect how the user will 'see' the site, feel it, use it, and how the website itself will behave, and in the end, that is the most important thing, because a correct and adequately designed site serves your users primarily.

Why Is Web Design Important?

In the modern era and modern way of life, the first impression is everything.

We cannot emphasize to you how important this is. We will put here one statistic. Over 85% of people who enter a website, if it is not opened in the first 3 seconds, leave it. Do you now understand why web design, as well as the functionality of your site, is important? The site opens slowly, you damage your brand. The site does not open, you damage your brand. If everything is not set up adequately and the site is not responsive, you are damaging your brand. See where this is going, right? Now that you understand why web design is important, as well as what web design is all about, it's time for us to introduce ourselves to you and introduce what we do.

We Are JOLA Branding & Web Design Studio

We are Jovana and Lazar, founders of the JOLA Branding. We are a family-owned design & branding studio based in Houston, Texas. Like most designers in today's world, we started slowly and with smaller projects.

Of course, there was a lot of freelancing at the beginning.

Life, opportunities, and other beautiful things have allowed us to relocate to the great state of Texas and Houston. Here we decided it was time for the next step. We opened our web design studio and started griding. We implemented design as a big part of our lives over the years. Now we are proud to say that we are living the ultimate designer’s life! Our studio very quickly took on a scale where we had to seek help and in a short period of time, we expanded our team, while maintaining our ‘family’ ideas and relationships with colleagues. JOLA is a group of designers, marketers, and developers creating a space where anyone from our team can freely express their ideas, passions, and visions. We LOVE design so much that we want to share our experience and abilities with you so we can grow together and take your business to the next level.
